The government’s new Levelling Up White Paper, revealed on the 2 February 2022, includes a radical reshaping of the private rental sector.

The shortage of high-quality rental properties is likely to keep pushing rental prices up in 2022.  There has already been a bounce back to pre-covid levels in cities.  

In November 2021 parliament passed further changes that will come into effect in 2022 regarding Carbon Monoxide Alarms.
